This is a robe I made last year as a gift for a cousin.
The fabric is 100%cotton, so it feels comfortable, and is beautifully embroidered with swirly lines in tones of golden and brown, giving the fabric a rich, elegant look.
The sash and collar were also made of cotton, but a plain black one, so that the robe wouldn't look too busy.
